06 M7, Having some trouble.....

Hey, I bought a 2006 M7 that just got rebuilt. There was a turbo on it and that is what caused it to blow up. A dealership rebuilt it, and I bought it. We took all the turbo off and put all of the stock parts back on. We got it done and it fires up just fine, idles great, low end seems to me running fine, but when you crack it open it is real doggy.

We checked the oil pump and adjusted the oil pressure but it doesn't seem to get any better or anything. Drained the gas and put fresh gas into.

Any thoughts that we could look into it?

Fuel pump

Check you fuel pressure I will bet they put a plug in it and cranked the fuel psi all the way up.

Get a hold of me if you need parts to fix it.

I have been helping Masterjohn put this sled together, question that I have is: on start up does the power valve ratchet once like the old ones did?

for the fuel system it did have a secondary fuel pump on it, where is this plug your talking about?

for the secondary fuel pump it did have a return line on it and I just plugged that?

thanks for the help cause I'm pulling my hair out!

Your saying it has another pump in addition to the stock pump inside the tank? Is it wired in running? If you run more than 45 psi fuel pressure to stock M7 injectors with a stock fuel map if will run rich.
