06 M7 153 Vs. 07 MTX Phazer wife/buddy/backup HELP me decide !

I'm selling the M5. Can't decide between the M6 or the Phazer. I know the M6 will outperform the Phazer but the wife will like the electric start and the reverse. Going forom an 80hp m5 to a 80hp phazer isnt going to be much of an upgrade is it? I can't Decide. The Phazer is $800 cheaper too. Help.

Get the M6....The Phazer is fun on the roads and trails until you have her try to ride it in "washington" powder. To go anywhere off trail you have to ride the Phazer pinned to the bar all day. The M6 will outperform it no problem.

Now if you are talking turbo Phazer.......:face-icon-small-win

Look at this from her angle. Her size, strength, wants, experience, etc. My wife is 5 ft, a little over 100 lbs. We have 600, 136's, mod 700, 162, and Phazer MTX, 144. Her other personal sled was an 01 Phazer Mountain Lite. She rode the hades out of that 1. We ride in big pow and high altitude. You couldn't take her MTX away from her if you tried. You said it creature comforts, ride, no maintenance. As for off trail, she has no problem. This sled is all about rider. It has power like a little tractor. You don't need a lot of throttle. It just keeps going. You will find that keeping this pinned will only get you in trouble. Experience for that one. She loves my 700 for going up the hills but to turn or even start, No. Just my 2 cents. Did I say no maintenance

I own 2 yamahas (Mountain Max and Nytro)and love them both, I've tried the Phazer also. I thought the Phazer was a useless sled. The 14 inch wide track trenched everywhere. go with the M6.

m6 for sure...phazer is tippy and try to get it going in deep powder is a chore for some gals...yes the phazer has some positives...but not enough for an enjoyable riding experience for the wife over the m6..she will spill her oil out on ya when she tips it..and if she rides powder etc...she will tip it and be stuck lots...

Flakey,
Go the M6 or get a Nytro. I bought a Phazer for my son and took it back after 2 weekends and got the Nytro. He was 11 and every time it tipped on its side oil would leak all over to the point it even got on the clutches. Whenever we got to really tricky climbs the Phazer then was too underpowered for me to climb it up for him without some serious dancing around and a long run at it. The Phazer would be good only for trails and the occasional snowcovered meadow.

Get the M6.

M6 all the way, trench digger has been modding the heck out of his phazer just to get that 80 hp top heavy turd to even go in the pow.

Phazer belongs in the yard riding with sleds it can keep uo to ike the "120s". she would be better off on an old phazer!!! lol the m-sleds are capable and light. and if it is going to be a backup sled the phazer will have you pulling out your hair, and the sled!!

go with the m way more aftermarket parts when you want more power. phazer heavy pig fun to ride in a foot of pow any more and it lacks on power and trenches like crazy. if you want fo find the bottom go phazer:D

trench digger love the "GO PHAZER" quote, thats a classic:) hope you enjoyed yourself at the coast, i stayed home and painted the porch. any riding this weekend???

The M is the best deep snow chassis on the market . The Yamaha is a fat
pig that might get stuck on the trail . I guess it all depends if you want her to love riding , or if you want her to stay home.:D

I've ridden the M chassis and the Phazturd. M chassis all day long. Not even a comparison IMO.
