06 900 SB capacitor location?

I was looking around and I kept finding the location for the capacitor on the 05's but I don't see any 06's.... My capacitor is bad after testing the stator and checking the wiring... Gauges and lights on and off when you start it up with one bar on the voltage gauge on the MFD after it's run long enough to get the MFD to stay on..... I am at your mercy!!!

It should be about right below where your fuel lines come out of your tank,in that general area.Think they are riveted on also.

Yeah I can see the ecu but I don't see the capacitor anywhere. If I look real hard with a light I can see the voltage regulator under the front edge of the fuel tank but that's it

I found the little bugga!!! It's down where the ecu was but on the side of where your foot rest is.... time to drain the tank and pull it then I'm golden

when you remount the fuel tank bolt it down a 1/4" back to give the wires a little more room

I'm gonna do that tomorrow when I pull the tank again, I noticed the DET sensor wire runs right under it which lately seems to be going off as soon as I hit 6k on the tach.... hmmmmmm

Capacitor location

My capacitor was actually on the backside of where the ecu is on 06 with two rivets holding it in place. Two wires coming out? Between the ecu and motor.
