06 800 low end bogg

So far I've put a couple sets of plugs in it. Drained the gas. Cleaned the carbs( they didn't look dirty). Reweighted the drive clutch to 19.6. Put the 1 1/2" studded track on. Stock gearing. Green spring in driven. Sorry forget the helix (Big john picked it). Drive clutch on 3.

This thing will put you over the bars every time you need it. Unless you are burap'n it a few times just before a driveway or when you need the snapy get up and go. You will be flying forword and hitting the E-stop switch.

Help please

Sounds like same thing happening with mine, yours sounds like it's got a really hard downshift tho when you're bogging out. Do you find if you pin it then it won't bog?

Best answer i've gotten so far is clean the pilot jets, haven't done it yet, -30c here right now and it's making it hard to heat up the garage! check out my thread, i think it's on page two in this section now, about weird idle and bogging at low throttle (titled something like that).

When i cleaned the carbs on sat. the reeds looked ok. When i pulled the carbs apart everything looked good but i went through them any how. I can remember ever since the sled was new it had a hesitation in it. It was never a crisp feel.

After Big John built the engine it was the same way. Just with WWWWWWAAAAAYYYYYY more power ( this thing rips). I never did bring it up to John. It's just something i've been use to. Untill i rode an 04 rev 800 and the response was much crisper.

I may give John a call he may have seen this on another sled. Maybe just a diff piolit.
