06 700 Max RPM's

What should my max RPM's be?
I did long climb on some fairly hard snow and had it WOT for about 60 - 75 secs. My max RPM's showing on my digital tach was 7800.

Is this the norm for this motor?
Should I trust the "High" readout or do I need to visually see it when WOT?

Seems about right for that setup - I have seen higher max rpm's on my tach from time to time (I think 8250 maybe once) but this was probably just a spike - I can't vouch for the accuracy of the max rpm setting on the tach.
With the SLP pipe and setup you have I think 7600-7800 rpm is right where it should be for your peak output!!

You'll need to watch the live rpm as you are running the sled. The max rpm feature is not really reliable for clutch tuning, they record spikes in the rpm which are sometimes out to lunch.

Peak power for the 06 700 with the SLP pipe set is 7800 - 8000 rpms so you should be pretty good at 7800.
