06-07 M8 153 vs 09-10 M8 153

looking to get some suggestions here. I am in the market for a 06-10 M8 153 track. for my price range (3000-4000 bucks) I have been seeing 06/07's with around 2500 miles going for around 3000-3500. And for 09/10 with about 3500 + miles for about 3700-4200 bucks. My question is are the 09/10 that much different from the 06/07's? I know the 09/10 will have reverse, possibly adjustable steering stem. But really want a clean sled. So would you rather have higher mileage newer model or lower mileage older model? Any input would greatly appreciated as I am coming from riding an 03 800 Skidoo summit.

07 is the first yr for the 800.
All 800's have reverse however, 09 and newer have engine reverse instead of in the diamond drive.
07 run so rich the exhaust melts everything under the hood including, wires and oil bottle.

09 is 15lbs or so lighter with a better track and tunnel, turns sharper. 2010 has the HO motor, similar power can be had with an slp pipe on the 09 and older.

10 has the awesome seat with tons of storage.

Adjustable handlebars were only on sno pros, at least for 10. Not sure about other years. I added them to my std 10.
