05rmk 800 temp light

Ok so I just picked up a 05 rmk 800 and the temp light flickers. It does not stay on or off just flickers

Mods if that helps
Slp pipe and can
Team clutches
Slp intake box

Does anybody have a diagram of the temp sensor so I can check the wires and everything

The temp sensors on those are notorious for going bad. Dealer should have them in stock for less than $20. Just change it go from there.

I read it could be the Detonation sensor also. Where is this sensor,could it b this

That is a different light that flashes on detonation.

Oh ok thanks so u think it's flickering cuz it's going bad? I just picked one up and I'll see if that does it

That is a different light that flashes on detonation.

I'm pretty sure on that sled, it is the temp light that flashes if it's detonation. The difference would be if its on for about 1/2 second then off 1/2 second. Flickering to me means the duration of the light being on or off is random!

When it's flickering does your sled run like crap?
