05 summit electrical issues

So I have a 2005 Summit 600, it runs great when it starts. For no rime or reason it just will not want to start. Last year a friend crashed and broke the front headlight and cracked the hood. Once that was replaced it ran then good then all of a sudden would not start for while. There was fuel, and spark. Once it started it worked great till it was shut off then would not start yet again. We unplugged the headlights for some reason things seemed alright for awhile. Then this year plugged the headlights in, (saw it was missing the boots so thought it might be water shorting something out) but the same is happening.

Any suggestions on where to go from here, or what could be wrong

similar issue on a REV summit 800. Fixed my issue by replacing the small square module above the secondary clutch. Went to NAPA and found a similar replacement and it worked. Think it cost $18 or less. You can find it on the wire harness attached to the aluminum cross brace right above the secondary clutch. Not sure if this will fix yours but it did mine and another friends.
