ARGH, another belt question on a ski-doo how strange, at least i dont have an XP
so, i have an ultimax 3 belt on my sled, 2005 summit 738 144 i have ridden about 100 miles on my new motor with 3 rides this year, and abut 500 miles on it last year, it has been working great with very minute amounts of dust.
on my last ride it started being sort of squeaky, and the only way i can decribe the sound is like a supercharger, the mechanichal whining, and there is tons of dust and its starting to frey a little, any reasons why it worked great and then just started to fail, sled still ripped all day, and im getting a new belt before i go out again, just wonderng why its dying all of a sudden.
