05 summit 1000, bleeding oil injection

So whats the trick to get the air out of the oil injection line? I can see no oil after the oil filter( in the line)right before the oil pump?

there is a small bolt on the back of the pump you can use a stubby flathead or i beleve an 8mll end wrench to pull it out. have some wrags positioned under the pump, pull the bleeder bolt all the way out al let oil run out until ther is no air in your lines and bubbles stop comping out of the bleeder, reinstall bolt and tighted. kinda messy but thats how ya do it. doo also recomends tying the pump wide open with a zip tie, start the sled, let it idle for 30 secs, shut off, cut zip tie, primes the system for any air that might have gotten into the pump. also a good time to check your cable adjustment so your pump is flowing the propper amount of oil. hope this helps

if you just did rebuild put a little oil in with the fuel for the first tank

i second LITTLE BIT. don't put anymore then what the manual says even for "good measure" i put a little more for break in and found out the hard way with a plugged injector on my poo causing a train wreck.
