05 RT 1000 check engine light????

Have an RT 1000 and the check engine light is on and it will not rev past 6500 rpm. Any suggestions would help.

Brothers does this a few times a year, I think its something with the fuel injection, not sure would just take it to your dealer.

Does it have a Boondockers box? Mine did the same thing. the connection from my boonie box to the stock harness was loose.

Couple things to check.
1st check your relays! you can get a cheaper one at Napa. Take one from your sled with you to match it up.

2nd, check your RAVE cable for binding. One of these two is most likely your problem. Also, make sure your Rave cable is adjusted properly. Those cables stretch and then won't open the Raves.
