05 m7 Upper A-arm fit and 07 M8?

I looked up the part numbers for the A-arms on an 07 m8 and 05 m7 and the lower A-arm part numbers are the same. But the upper A-arms are different part numbers. Did they re-design the upper A-arms for the 07 M8?
Or will they be okay on the M8?

I will tell you this.. I purchased a-arm bearings for a 2008 m8 to replace the stock plastic junk ones on my 2005 m7. Did not work. 2008 bolt diameter was smaller than 2005. Same a-arms but different through-bolt sizes on bulkhead side. I would say arctic cat was saving a few oz's of weight by going to a smaller bolt in later m-series years. And for those wondering if i replaced the stock crappy plastic bearings with those from cat--- i did not. Got a piece of self lubing 3m nylatron bushing stock and had them made by a machinist.

Put 07 a-arms on my 05 with no problems. Also replaced the bushings with AC aluminum bushings. Not sure how they will hold up though.
