05' M6 problems...mostly sec. clutch

Ok....New to the site and looking for help on my troubles.

My 2005 M6 keeps wrecking parts on the sec. clutch
Last year while out west it melted the rollers down 2 times (had spares) That was the last time I road it in 08, and really the only time I did.
Over the weekend the inside sheeve let go and now spins free from the outside sheeve.

Ever since I had the dealer put back on the 2.25 before I went out west last year it seems like the motor really works to get going...never really sounds smooth. So what do you think is "binding" or why is my sec. clutch giving me so much trouble?? When I had the ripsaw track on I never had any problems.

Thanks.

how about some pics to show what you are trying to explain. that would be easier to understand how it is spinning freely. i have an 06 m6 with the 2.25 and no problems like that. sounds like a dealer issue to me.

The bolts that go into the helix probably came loose and sheared off. Need to pull the clutch and extract the bolts, there is a new updated bolt and make sure to use locktite.
