05 700 RMK wont hold RMP's when climbing it starts out good but 1/2 way into a climb it will drop from 8100-8200 to 7600-7800 RPM when I hit the noss it picks back up for a little bit then drops again. It has the SLP performance package, performance porting, pipe, cheater head, v force 3'S and everything else that goes with the performance package. 7 tooth Avid exvert drivers, 2 inner 8'' rear wheels, 155x15x2.4 track, 19-42 gearing, 10-60 weights, SLP blue yellow primary spring, team secondary clutch, red black spring 50-45 helix set at 60-40-36. light weight mesh hood, light weight rear suspension, boss seat, and a few other light weight parts. Ive tried 68g mtx weight and different rivets 10-64, 10-62, jetting, new belt, new springs, the clutches are clean, rollers are good, the track turns freely. Egts run around 1200-1250 at when in the 8s then down to 1000-1100 when in the upper 7s rpm. Any help wold be greatly appreciated. Thanks

RPM

I would try the SLP blue/ red, it's a little stiffer on the top and should hold the Rs better. You might also switch the driven to 60/38. That is what SLP recommends for the 9-12k elevation.

Single pipe or twins? You running the stock airbox? What elevation you riding at?

Single performance pipe, slp air horn gutted air box, 6000-9000 in island park & 9000-12000 in Cooke. Also running a r&m mesh hood with the powder pod so its drawing air straight in to the air box

I don't see the 50-45 spring. Is that red with a black stripe or black with a red stripe?

I'd go to a black purple or a black white in the driven to see if you can get it to backshift into the 60 better. How are your belt temps?

Also, as markoo says, check your wide open jetting... if you are running rich you'll heat soak the pipe on big pulls with the unburnt fuel in the pipe.

The 50-45 is the helix part# The secondary spring is a SLP red with black stripe.

Black purple or black white are those Polaris or SLP springs?

Belt gets warm after a long pull not real hot but not cool either.

If I was running rich on wide open wouldn't I see that with my EGTs?

Buy looking at my piston wash it looks like I could lean it out alittle.

Can you hold your hand on your clutch after a good pull? I mean without burning it or feeling severe pain.
Just hard to gauge what sort of temps you have by your description.

Yes I can. They dont get severely hot its hard to describe temperature especially when its cold out. They get hot but you can still hold your hand on then. Ill have to shoot them with the infrared gun and get a temp reading.

Those are TEAM springs and SLP carries them. 50-44 is the black/white and 50-55 is the black/purple.

Too lean

If your gets r saying that ur at 1200 to 1250 at wide open then your to lean from my past experiences I have burned down at 1250 to 1275 dose ur gets have a red light that comes on when your that hot and dose the water temp go up when u hold it full throttle? I would say that your to lean and starting to bog or slight starting to burn down not sure but it worth a try to richen up a little bit and if that's not it go right back to the way it is now. Good luck
