05 900RMK barely idles

My brother has a sled just like mine in my sig and I took him out for his first ride of the season(he's had the sled for a few years) today and his sled would barely idle infact it was so low it kept resetting the gauges and shutting the headlight off but it never died. Once you were driving the sled it ran fine and never skipped a beat. What could be his problem I am going to try and tear into it tomorrow. Oh and the sled ran great last year when we put it away and I cleaned his exhaust valves second to last ride last year too. Thanks for you help.

idle is too low...

check and set the TPS. adjust idle to 1500-1700 rpms.

not an uncommon issue, but im sure its the TPS needed adjustment/idle set...

Thanks thats a good idea, is it really that hard to do or is it fairly easy? I tried to look at that video that mountainhorse had posted but it's not there anymore.

I can do it so I cant be that hard. I would suggest and analog meter test to look for dead spots in the sensor . i have had to adjust every single one Ive ever tested.
