05' 900 RMK stuck on WOT after storage

My 2005 RMK has been in storage since may.
But now if i start it up it revs up to the limiter ( thank god i didn have the belt on it )
The cable moves normaly and the throttle down by the intake does allso. Nothing seems to be stuck open.
Anyone have any idea what this can be ?

sounds like a cable issue...what cable do you have? is there an adjustment point somewhere on the cable itself? I'd recommend checking that...it may have separated effectively shortening the cable and causing your issue (I had this happen with a motion pro cable recently)...If you take the throttle cable out of the throttle block you should be able to see how much cable is available and go from there.

DON"T run your sled without the belt

This can cause a run away engine and serious damage to the engine.

That could be the whlole problem
