05 900 efi more air?

have seen where people make an new air intake through the speedo hole on the 900 1m, mine is an efi and seems to load up a bit in deep powder and lots of little throttle, would one of these home made intakes work? would i have to add a fuel controller?thinking of doing this and blocking off the engine comp air intakes..

Yes, It will help with the bog! Just block off the intakes on the inside both sides. Place some SLP fabric covers on the outers. Also seal up the exhaust on the can/bellypan hole. I haven't had one problem with bogging with this.
