Need a turbo for my apex, this one has got to go.

How is the "pull and go" factor on this sled? A friend wants to upgrade from his 02 700 RMK and this one caught his eye. Last year was basically his first year riding and I don't think he's up to tuning a sled, nor would he know what signs to watch for yet.
