05 800 REV Oil

Am out of the Skidoo Mineral Oil and am looking for information regarding whether I should stay with the Skidoo brand, or move to a blended product. have an 05 800 REV Summit with around 2K miles and need some direction.

Ride in the Blue Mountains of SE Washington State at elevations from 4000 to 6500 feet...

Don't tell my engine but I have 2k+ miles on my 05 800 rev with Walmart supertech oil. $12 a gallon and available 24 hours a day.

a friend of mine switched over to that stuff and he said there is some sort of number to look for on the jug and it doesnt matter how cheap the oil is as long as it is close to some number but i cannot remember.

Amsoil Interceptor all the way. I have 4500k and my Son has 7200k. We did top end only because we had time and were worried about rings flaking. Both sleds were fine. Great oil!!

Amsoil Interceptor all the way, have run it for years with some of my sleds in the 6000 mile range and NO problems~~I still run it in sleds from a 1998 to a 2009~
