'05 1000 rt

I just bought a '05 Summit 1000 with all the '06 upgrades and extra's allready done with it.The original owner had trouble with the ringgear coming off...can anybody tell me if i can run without the ringgear on the primary or should i put it back on and threadlock it?Thanks...

pretty sure it needs to be on, Loctite it for sure.

I believe its part of the crankshaft balance , you should leave it on.
