04 summit Reverse acting up.

Started up my sled to take it off the trailer today. While running it would just go into reverse by itself. As if I had pushed the button, except I didn't push it. It did this several times. In and out of reverse. This worries me. This is the first time its happened. Could it be water in the wiring? Or is the RER switch going out?

I put it in the garage tonight to see if drying it out helps. We'll see.


Any ideas?

mine did the exact same thing 2 rides a go i turned my idle down that day then it started to go in rer so i turned it back up and its been fine so far

I startedit today after it sat inside for a day. Didn't do it now.

But it did beep twice. I don't remember it doing that normally.



Any other ideas????

They are s'posed to beep twice when you start (if you still have yuhr buzzer hooked up) to let you know that everything is OK. (Right tether on the DESS)

Ox thanks, for some reason I don't remember it doing that before. But I'm sure it did, just now that it was acting up now I pay attention to it.
