Has anyone replaced the needle and seat on their flatslides yet? I am having some issues and want to replace the needles, Dennis kirk said they dont make anything for my sled and Doo wants you to buy the whole float set up which is $90 each.
Try www.kimpex.com or www.motovan.com it takes a while to surf the sites but they had the parts I needed for my 05. There is also recreationsupply in Saskatchewan Canada.....they have alot of stuff. hope this helps.
SLP sells needles and needle jets for Mikuni carbs, they are in their closeout flyer right now for a significant savings. 1.99 per needle and 4.99 for the jet.
We don't stock them but the price is pretty common. On that type of carb
that is the only way Mikuni makes a replacement because you usually need the
complete assembly considering it will all wear. Thanks, Jim
