C Crasher Free Member Dec 6, 2008 #2 Secondary RER. If it was in reverse the last time you ran it, and started it again, it will clunk when the secondary makes contact with the other side of the helix. It will do this going down hill and you hammer the throttle also.

J JROD Well-known member Dec 7, 2008 #3 Crasher's probably right but if your primary can make a god awful clunking noise if the pucks are shot and clutch is in need of rebuild.
