04 800 summit

have a 04 800 summit
having hard start issues
starts in the morning ok
its when its warm that the hard start happens
its like it floods out
have to pull the plugs and pull till it clears out
any ideas??

The 04 rings were flakey. Check your compression and do a top end if it's low before you burn it down.

mine does the same thing in really cold weather/altitude. In Montana it was really bad. I am almost sure it has something to do with the dpm. Chad from chester mountain sports suggested I have the dpm reflashed, that may solve it.

I did find when I stopped and cracked the gas cap open to relieve pressure that would help and not let it sit too long without starting it.

make sure your valvle for the carburator warmer is off. if coolant is hot it will let the moter fill full of gas some how? I had that trouble.

Choke cable out of adjustment? Had a friend that the choke was just slightly on all the time, chased that issue for a full season!
