04 800 summit x help

Have 04 800 with milled head and ported and polished motor in it. Yesterday was riding and at the end of the day on the way back to the truck my raditor hose blew off and sled lost power so i shut it down.Did not try and restart it because the motor seemed like it seized up.So this morning I went to rip it a part.but instead i fixed the raditor hose because the motor was free and it started right up elevated the track and it spun to 8400 like normal. So what do I do.Do I leave it alone or do I rip it apart. It seems to run fine????????I am confused. Please help

i would at least pop the head off and have a look at the pistons and cylinder walls

i would check the compresion in each side if its 125psi or above id leave it if its lower ad put a set of pistons in it. my 04 has bout 135.

I checked the compression today and it is at 145 in one and 148 in the other. I think I am going to open it up any how just to check it out.

Look in the plug holes for any damage. It's winter run it and go through it in the spring.
