'04 800 bogging and stumbling at full throttle

I had my '04 800 out this weekend. It was running pretty good until the end of the day. At full throttle, it started acting like it almost was hitting a rev limiter or something. Then it went to bogging whenever I tried blipping the throttle.

I unhooked the wiring going to the kill switch, which didn't seem to help. I don't know if it's related or not, but my tach was only working sporatically all day.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like a short in the wiring.

They do that a lot, 'cause of the vibration. I found the wire worn thu under the oil tank.
