03 Summit Highmark 800 HO Questions

Hey,
I am pretty new to this sleddin thing, so I am trying to get some advice from all the experts out there.

First, what is the best/most cost effective riser and bar combo for my sled, and what throttle and brake cable extensions do I need. I am looking for at least a six inch riser and a wider bar?

Second, what is the max paddle height I can run on the track without having to dig into the suspension?

Third, the sled feels a bit tippy to me. Can I swith the ski position or get different skis to correct this?

Any additional advice you can give me about my sled would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

6" riser will require extensions, Fabcraft makes some nice wider straighter bars with added height, you may need a riser block to get 6" total.

2" paddle height is about max, it gets pretty close to the front cooler otherwise.

Tippiness, that's how these mountain sleds ride, makes them easier to carve in the pow.
Get some Simmons skis, very good improvment on this sled.

Check the rings/compression, replace if you have the original moly rings. Or change to a 2 ring piston.

Keep stock pipe, aftermarket pipes are no better. Add a HPS can to lighten it up.

Boss Highrise is a nice addition.

Doo the '03's have the same "side hiller" si that the '02's had?

I had issues with those skis dipping and diving quite a bit. Bought a set of Doo "precission" skis (Simmons knockoffs) off ebay and bolted on and was night/day diff! I am sure that true Simmons would be good too!

03's came with the offset mountain ski, I didn't like them at all. Simmons made the sled so easy to control. Best mod I did to my 03 along with the new bars and risers.

I put a 2 1/2 on mine with 7T drivers without any problems, plenty of clearance up front also.

I switched my skis to the ski-doo precision skis and love them. Couldn't afford simmons.
