will a pipe off of a 03 mc 900 carb work on a 04 mc 900 efi, looked them up and they hae different part numbers

when i looked into this , someone on here told me that they have an internal stinger in the pipe to keep the pipe at the correct operating temp and the stingers in the efi and carbed pipe are different lengths..so they may work but not effectively
Will it work ? yeah. How well will it run? no telling tell you try it. The carb pipe has a larger outlet the the EFI pipe. The EFI motor needs more back pressure then the carb motor. If the carb pipe is free give it a try. If not, keep looking for a EFI pipe.
