03 800 VES, air bubbles in oil lines.

I put a new oil line from the bottle to the pump, new oil lines from the pump to the crank bearings and carbs. Bled out all the air from the line coming from the oil bottle and im consistently getting small air bubbles in the lines. I've run all the bubbles out of the lines, ran the sled around for a few minutes only to have more bubbles in the lines. WHAT AM I MISSING?

Thanks
G

Do what you've already done more...you still have air somewhere in there. You likely ended up with a pocket of air in the pump that you didn't bleed completely out. Are you holding the oil pump arm wide open while it idles? To get the oil moving faster? You might also turn it on one side and let it sit for a bit...then turn it on the other side and let it sit for a bit. Repeat till you see no bubbles.

By bled the system i mean, i had the engine idling while i opened the bleed screw on the pump till free of air AS WELL as holding the arm open until all the air was passed through the lines. As soon as i start riding a ton of bubbles re-appear in the lines. The oil bottle is vented and clear so i know it vents. I would have to think at this point the pump itself is pulling in air from somewhere. Can i just re-seal the pump somehow?

After i built this sled, i had it all bled out, NO bubbles in the line anywhere. I had a malfunction with the oil line from the bottle to the pump so i pulled it to install a new line. Thats when i started getting bubbles, i have put clamps on everything that would need them, lines where TIGHT, they were a pain to get on and thats how i wanted it. So im thinking something with that pump is allowing air in. I can clearly see all bubbles, most are small but once in awhile i get a bigger one. I could tell my sled was running really lean today, we had a foot deep of new and still getting hot so i checked the lines and saw the bubbles. I stuck the pump wide open and watched all the bubbles run on through, then ran the sled, after 10min got more bubbles, ran them through again, i did this probably four five times and still got bubbles. Im thinking the pump is wore out or something like that. I've thought about running just premix but then i risk my crank bearings. Maybe ill drop in a new pump or pull this one and check it all out. Hopefully ill figure something out here....
