03 800 head on a 800R??

Do any know if the 03 800 head fit the 09 800R engine?

I would say most likely not, but I could be wrong. I'd be surprised if it did.

It will fit. It will also bump up the comp a bit.

800r has a mono cylinder 03 does not but it might fit ????

Just curious as to why you would want to do this? What would be the advantage vs the risk? Seems like you would want to be running the head thats spec'd for the motor (stock head) or get an aftermarket high compression head thats been engineered for that specific motor. Just seems like a bad idea maybe...?
