02 summit track

Does any one know what the biggest lug track is that you can stick under a stock 02 summit 800 x that has a 144*2? with out doing any mods to it

You are limited to a 2.25". Even then smaller drivers would be recommended.

so with the stock drivers and the stock chain case you can squizz a 2.25" lug track in there and still have room???

I did a bunch of research on this. Some said it wouldn't fit but most said it would. I tried it anyway. I put a 2.25 x 16 under my 02 700 summit (with 9-tooth extros...should be the same size as stock). It's really close but it fits. I'd say somewhere between 1/8 and 1/4 inch of space remaining.

I haven't run it yet...it's my summer project.

THUS THE SMALLER DRIVER RECOMMENDATION. Had a 162x16x2.25 on my 01 zx and strongly recommend the smaller drivers. I also had a Kinetic drop and roll on it. Then upgraded to a 16x162x2.5 end result was about 5/8 to 3/4" clearence.

Keep in mind that the 02's came with a small drop & roll that wasn't on the 01's.

So if I wanted to I could put a 2 1/8" track under it and still have about 1/4" of clearness?

i have a 2001 summit 700 and a put a 174 2.5 under it and it only rubs when your goin down hill slow you half to take the front cooler out of the tunnel tho

i ran a 19 44 last winter and it worked really well but im gana gear it down a lil more this year
