02 800 HO fuel problem

I have a 2002 summit 800 HO highmark and it bogs down on the low end and midrange sometimes it will work wide open . I have changed jets and even put on new carbs and still it is like it leans out to much. If you put the choke on half it runs finei I was told it may be the reeds any suggestions?

For those who have not seen the difference between the needles offered for the lean mid range problem here they are.
As you can see the stock needle has a pretty good "hump" in the mid-range portion of the needle as well as the "990" needle offered by skidoo to to "fix" the mid-range lean. One plus for the "990" is that its "adjustable". The "942" has the mid-range portion of the needle smoothed out to help the transition to WOT. In my opinion, the "942" is the better needle. The "942" needles are for the mid-year release 2000 MXZ 800. The doo part number is 404161942 and are sold in packs of one.
The 942 needles are the stock needle on a 2000 hm 800 and are adjustable and do not have that extra hump in it I'm ordering me a set to replace my 990 needles in my 01 summitt 800 to see if that will help and let you know

'02 HO?

You changed jugs?
There was no HO in '02 that I know of. ???

I have ran the '942 needles for yrs, but that's prolly not your issues. If you have changed the carbs and same problem - I would look at the reeds as well. Have you ever had them out? Any original '02 reed cage will be dry rotted and cracked.

Likely more the boots that the reeds from my experience.
