02 800 clear tank

Just wondering if anyone else has experience a cracked filler neck with one of these tanks? I have use the two part putty that is used to fix plastic gas tanks but I am afraid the whole neck is going to come off. I am pretty sure the only way to fix is a new or used tank.

Whatever fix you come up with there, probably wont last very long. Last thing you want is a failure "way back" somewhere... just my .02
