02-22-14 - Lake Ann / Van Epps?

Sugarloaf should be safe from avy danger, Mad lake doesn't exist, and if it did you couldn't get there, too much snow. :face-icon-small-win
I heard Mad Lake is like the Bermuda triangle, when get there, were ever there is, your lost! I went there one time, and it scared the H**l out of me and some how ended up near the snow park in a ditch! :mad2:

You won't make it to Gallagher, let alone Lake Ann, I was up yesterday, turned around above Camp Creek, I ride a boosted pro, but even with boost some times it's just too deep. I waited for Snoblower to cut a path to snopark, new snow was 4' above guardrail, they were just getting around to clearing road from Ronald, groomer hadn't even attempted going up yet. Even if able to get there, I guarantee it will not be safe. I bet Fortune Creek has slid, and slid big time, doubt you can get around it for a bit. Be safe, good luck wherever you go, going to be good everywhere, save the big stuff for another few days.

Know that the county has got the road cleared to Sac (nice job) plan on pushing up to the guard station at fish lake f.s. 4330. Don't think anyone has been up to see if Fortune has slid. Snotel says 40" is 6 days on sasse ridge. Be safe, cooling off to night thing are starting to firm up.
