01 rmk 800 mod belt help

I have a 01 polaris rmk mod chassis with an 03 xcr 800 tripple in it. Im having issues with what belt to get for it. The one on it started to fall apart right where the numbers are on it. I can tell its 321xx98. Going off of the spare and the number that came off oem for an 01 rmk 800 im guessing its a 3211098. The stock belt for the 01 rmk 800 is 3211065. Ive never tried another belt for this sled only the 3211098 the spare is different Its 3211080 i havnt tried it either. Any idea if i should stick with what it came with or go with the stock belt number for the chassies. I didnt build the sled so im not positive on the specifics but i had a guy that "knows polaris sleds" look at it and he said i have a drop and roll or edge chaincase and the clutches look like the stock ones off an rmk 800.

Any input at all would be great

What is the center to center distance from clutch bolt to clutch bolt?

And yes, need to know exactly which clutches are on it.

I can help you after that.

The distance is roughly 11.5 inches only info on the primary i can find is 12/12/00 000-SP and theres a 1 under that

Secondary says 5630441 04 and polaris usa on it

Polaris P-85 primary and OEM Polaris button secondary.

"approximately" 11.5? If you can get it to within 1/16th....

No worries.

My dad's sled is in the trailer here at my house.
He's got a bone stock 2001 800. I'll go outside and measure the CtC and see how close it is to your measurement.
He's also got the stock OEM belt on there, so I'll look at that also.

To measure the center to center, pull the driven clutch off then measure the center of the drive clutch shaft to the center of the jackshaft, that will give you your center to center.

Every sled from 1997 on, and some before that... at least the bigger motored sleds, used a wide belt. So all you need is the center to center distance and then we can tell you which belt to run. Belt angles were slightly different, but we can get you a good option. I'm going to bet if it is 11.5 then you'll run the 080 belt.

Thanks guys i think ive figured out what to go with based of your help and reasearch ive done on the 080 belt and the 098. My ctc is close to 11.5 and with my sled having the 080 as a spere and the 098 on it ill run a 098. The other threads i read said the 098 was a fix for sleds that didnt run good with the 080 and the 098 runs about 200 rmps higher aparently and thats what i want with a tripple.
