'01 800 skidoo piston update???

im doing a set of pistons in a friends 01 summit 800 and am wondering what pistons you skidoo guys are using for the update. oem, spi, wiseco (hope not), any good info from those familiar with these sleds. thanks

I used Cudney pistons in my 04 800. They have a higher silicon content and a little tighter clearance than oem. These really woke up my sled, was very satisfied. Give Bill a call, he is real good guy to chat with. Highly recommended.

used spi's in an 02 I did this spring, they seemed like good pistons. Use cast OEM if you can afford it, they are the best.

I also used a set of Cudney's in my 01. I'm pretty sure they are from SPI. Worked very well and much better than stock. If you have an 01 do a skid relocate and throw a 156 Camo under her. Run the Big John clutch setup on it and you will have the best running 01 around !

I just did a 2001 summit 800. Wanted to use SPI pistons but... They are on back order till mid february. (according to western power sports) Cant wait that long. used wiescos. Sled is now for sale.
