01 700 no start

i have a 01 700, had i running to warm up, choke still on and it back-fired and died. tring to restart felt like the ign timing was out. popping through the intake. is there a problem with the flywheel key breaking or crank problem?
please help

Check and see if it didn't break a reed or two. I've had my 700 break them after it backfired.
