00' RMK 800 w/144 track

I'm a noob, so please excuse me if this is a dumb question:

Looking to buy my first sled this winter. Friend has a 200 RMK 800 w/144 track he wants to sell for "$3k or slightly less" with 1700 miles. Only mod that I know of is the longer than stock track and a hot dog cooker. Good service records, no known problems.

Is this a reasonable sled to start out with? I figure if I dig it I'll buy a newer sled and keep this as a 2nd/friend sled.

I think i would look around a little bit more.
I just bout a 2002 800 rmk 156 twin pipes roller secondary mesh hood boss seat and simmions skis and some other stuff im proble forgetting i paid 2500$ for it

Look around a little and try to find somethin a little cheaper, seems a little high priced to me.
