    05 KingCAT EFI ECU question / Tach required ?

    I am switching to a mesh hood and am wondering if I need to keep the giant tach. I have heard it is required for the ecu or I risk burning it up. If I unplug it the sled appears to run fine though. Has anyone run an EFI without the tach ? Or maybe switched it for something smaller ? I did...
