I started the season with a new Bradford built steel flatbed. I needed the steel because I use this as my plow pick up in an aluminum flatbed was not heavy enough for traction and weight. Plus, I didn’t like the idea of having ski glides and super clamp tiedowns on my flatbed in the summertime because things don’t slide or load well when those are in place. So, off to the store I went to buy aluminum and supplies. What I came up with was a deck that allows me to store my ramp underneath it on the flatbed (Not folded up in between two sleds bouncing back-and-forth) and is removable in the summertime in about five minutes to convert back to a normal flatbed. It was a fun
project, but made me realize I need much more practice welding aluminum.
