how to bleed brakes

Apparently I'm not smart enough to figure out how to bleed brakes on a sled. Done it tons of times on cars but can't get any pressure to build on the sled. Would someone mind explaining the process?

Fill the reservoir. Then does the cap go back on or stay off? Open valve and squeeze brake lever, or do you just open the valve and let it run until no more air purges?

Zac, I do it backwards of a car kinda.

Get the fluid to drop to the brake bleed nut, then flick the brake lever to get the bubbles out. once you stop seeing bubbles come out of the line, you should be set. Alternate between squeezing & flicking. Sounds dumb, but it works.

I've found on these the best way is to pump it up from the bleeder on the caliper and leave the cap off. Also you can hang a brake fluid supply higher than your master cylinder run a vinyl line down to the bleeder and let the fluid push its way up to the master cylinder. Either way you do it you have to lightly squeeze or feather the brake lever to let fluid past when it's trying to come up.

I like to do it backwards also, I like to use a big syringe on the bleeder of the caliper, Push the new fluid up to the res until it comes out clean. It helps to have another syringe to suck the fluid out of the res. as it get to full.
