Orofino/Pierce

Heavily forested mountains and well-groomed trails await sledders who want to explore the mountains around Orofino. This area also has several hundred miles of ungroomed trails which snake through the area once explored by Lewis and Clark. In fact, some of the groomed paths follow trails once used by the famous explorers.
