Coeur d’Alene

North Idaho, especially around Coeur d’Alene, has a long history of mining and timber harvesting that has created a network of roads which benefits snowmobilers today. There’s a trail for nearly every skill level and lots of off-trail riding. The Coeur d’Alene system connects with the Wallace system, allowing snowmobilers to ride from Coeur d’Alene to Wallace and on to Haugan and St. Regis in Montana, all part of a 1,000 mile trail system that blankets northern Idaho.
