Dan Adams, owner of Next Level Riding Clinics in Apline, Wyoming, urged the importance of avalanche awareness and safety in a video. Adams suggested the following to be prepared in the event of an avalance:
- Plan your ride
Where are you going? Who are you riding with? What’s the weather conditions?
- Get the gear
Have a backpack, a probe, a shovel, a tranciever and a form of communication, like a radio.
- Get the training
Know how to use the gear.
