As the last independent transceiver company, Arva is introducing its 15th avalanche beacon to the market.
The new Evo5 is a slim and compact avalanche beacon that packs in key features and big performance in a pocket-size package. The Evo5 easily fits in the palm of your hand and weights just 170g. Powered by a single battery, this product is designed for the evolving backcountry user that values light weight and is more commonly using specifically designed pockets to secure and carry while sledding.
The transceiver measures 11cm in height and 7cm wide. A 3-position slider, an extra large screen and a central marking button make it easy to operate the device during the search.
Key features include a 50M search range, Auto-Revert, Group Check, Digital Interference Management and U-turn indicator.
Arva is a family-owned company based in Annecy, France and has been making snow safety products for more than 30 years. The company prides itself on having a narrow focus on the safety products it produces, as well as constantly innovating in a category that averages new product every 3-5 years.
