Helmets
Tip 5 - Head For The Hills
Helmets are relatively easy to care for. Just make sure you don’t drop yours, as this can compromise the integrity of the energy absorbing materials inside or crack the outer shell. When the shell gets dirty, use a damp washcloth to wipe gently. Don’t use aggressive cleaners as it could degrade your surface finish.
No one likes putting on a stinky helmet, so pop out the liner from time to time (or after every ride) and hand wash them with a little soap in a sink. Rinse out the soap completely. Press them into a dry towel and remove as much moisture as possible then allow them to air dry overnight.
