Alpha One Track

Changes had to made to accommodate the new Alpha One rear suspension.

  • Track options include either a 154- or 165-inch Power Claw. You’ll notice that both those lengths are new to Arctic Cat, which still offers a 154- and 162-inch Power Claw.
  • Both tracks have a 3-inch lug depth but a new pitch at 3.5 inches. The new design results in a loss of 6.5 lbs. (a big chunk of the 11-pound weight loss of the rear suspension) compared to traditional tracks.
  • Large 10-inch rear idler wheels (compared to 8-inch on other mountain models), which help increase efficiency.

ProClimb 7 G2 Skis

  • New shape delivers better flotation
  • Easier steering
  • Different keel
  • Molded-in foot traction on the top of the ski for better footing when needed.
  • “It’s not the most aggressive ski but we think it’s the best all-around ski.” – Andy Beavis, Arctic Cat mountain product team manager.
  • Tapered width; 7 inches at the tip to 6.5 inches in the middle. Beavis explained the ski is the same size but is attached a little farther back on the spindle.
