Sum+It Riders Joins Forces With ISSA

Published in the February 2018 Issue August 2018 Feature

Look at Sum+It Riders’ website and you’ll see that the product offering is small but Lott says his product line has grown as has the awareness of his movement.

His goal, he said, is to grow his business by 300 percent in the next while, something easy to track through social media analytics and web analytics. He said, “I would love to have $5,000 in money we’ve donated to show people where their support is going.”

He added, “Every business has to have passionate people around it to succeed,” and so he is working to attract those passionate people to help him both on the business side and in helping educate others about the need to be involved.

And, he said, it seems to be working. “It used to be me reaching out,” he said. “Now people are contacting me to see how they can help and if they can put our product in their store or who they can send an e-mail to.”

He also pointed out that he has hired an intern to help focus more on women’s clothing needs.

As we have learned over the years in the public lands access fight, every little bit helps.

“My background has hopefully been helpful in trying to help advance the purpose of ISSA through different methods.”
