Bottom line is that if you spend most of your time riding hardpack and trails, the SKS has a better ride for you. And that’s really where most western snowmobilers spend their time.
The SKS retails for several hundred dollars more than the Pro RMK … mostly to cover the increase in the quality of the shocks and suspension. But if you are looking for a snowmobile that delivers performance on the trail first with the ability to wander off the trail when necessary, the SKS may just be the perfect mountain sled for you.
