Product Test: Skinz Running Boards

July 2017 Product Tests

Snowmobiling through terrain requires a lot of carving sidehills and moving from side-to-side on your sled. Skinz has worked with Bret Rasmussen to design Airframe running boards designed for aggressive riders.

Last season the editors of SnoWest put a set of the Rasmussen Style boards on our Ski-Doo project sled … what a difference a narrower board makes in busting through deep powder.

The Ski-Doo boards are 1.5-inches narrower on each side. Arctic Cat boards are 1-inch narrower per side. The design of the boards provides extreme foot traction so you’re always secure to your sled.

Rasmussen Airframe boards include upgraded vacuum-formed plastic corners and are more durable. The new plastic corners move through the snow more efficiently and offer better glide during side hilling.

The boards retail from $525.95 to $575.95. For more information contact www.skinzprotectivegear.com.
